The day involved 18 holes in the morning and 18 holes in the afternoon, with the two best scores qualifying from the three pairs representing each school with alumni from Loughborough Grammar, Oundle, Stamford, Uppingham and Ratcliffe College. This years Old Ratcliffians team was represented by Abe Mee (92) (afternoon session), Scott Piecha (00) (morning session), Declan (16) and Sean McAuley (05), Dominic Howkins (00), Lindsay Buckingham (00) and Saroj Ekanayake (00).
After the morning session the OR’s sat in third place, only by one point, which still meant they were in contention and also hoping to better the last five years of playing and finishing in the bottom two! The OR’s finished with two strong rounds in the afternoon. This was firstly led by Abe Mee and Lindsay Buckingham with 44 points, which was followed by the last pair, Declan and Sean McAuley coming in with 43 points.
The Old Ratcliffians team won with a total of 166 for the day, with the Old Oundelians coming second with 159 points.
